Davison is a graduate of the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design (2001). She is an artist who's paintings evoke warmth with a local flare. Through depictions of landscapes, and architecture she works by commission and is also represented by 14 Bells Art Gallery, Hydrostone Halifax, Nova Scotia.

 

Davison has lived abroad in England, France, and Morocco and believes that her love of her home province has come from seeing it through fresh eyes:

 

“In my paintings I like to gather our weathered landscapes and our region's varied architecture and sculpt them in bold colour for the viewer.  I so appreciate our local community and all it has to offer and I consider myself lucky to be a part of it.”
